Bringing a modern aesthetic and superior functionality to a country farm house is a great way to update your look but incorporate natural elements into the overall design. For this farm house, located on the Russian River, we used locally sourced Russian River aggregate in all the mixes and custom colors to compliment the natural visual texture it provides. Working with designer Marci Ellison and architect Kirby Lee, we played off the modern, clean elements throughout the farm house to create an updated and durable country chic look.
Pulling warm elements from the kitchen and darker, earthier tones for the bathroom sinks and shower, this project reflects the craftsmanship and integrity of the original architecture throughout the house. We developed and installed one of our largest single shower panels to date for the 6 foot long walk in, glass walled shower, and updated the patio with a custom outdoor kitchen countertop and sink surround.
